Tourloti is one of the larger villages in the Lasithi Area. It , 27km away from Sitia on the national road towards Agios Nikolaos that used to be the seat of the Tourloti Municipality.

Tourloti encounters about 300-350 residents in the winter. In the summer there is an influx of people from Athens and from Europe increasing the population to 900.

Many social events and festivals take place in the summer here  In these traditional festivals people dance Cretan dances, enjoy the famous Raki and eat traditional specialties.

During the summer, Tourloti is a real paradise. Not very crowded, it is ideal for people who are looking for a quiet and relaxing place for enjoying their time slowly. In the summer you can find rooms to let in the neighbouring small village of Mochlos.

Mochlos is 7.5 km far from Tourloti and it is a coastal tourist and archeological site - a small village - with many facilities: rooms to let, beaches, restaurants, bars, and a Hotel.

 The village of Tourloti is located in Eastern Crete, in the Prefecture of Lasithi.

Tourloti is 45 Km from Agios Nikolaos and 28 Km from Sitia. It is one of biggest villages in East Crete.
